Reminding us that Good Friday is a reminder to actually pay attention and not treat Jesus’ sacrifice like background noise we’ve already heard before. Jesus knew exactly what was coming, and still chose it—serving, loving, and ultimately giving His life so we could have access to God, forgiveness, and real freedom.
